Wondering what an event is like? Here’s what happened at a Sunday lunch with 25 of us for the event at Smarden and many people contacted me afterwards to say that it was a particularly good event; someone wrote “It was a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable afternoon with great company and good food.” And … one of the ladies rang in to say what a great bunch of men! It does make an event enjoyable when there is a good mix of people. There was also a good mix of ages ranging from early 30’s to early 70’s. One of the gentlemen then took us on a walking tour of Smarden – a village so pretty that it’s been used for an Agatha Christie Miss Marple setting.
